Miss Sharon Plessl Pongracz - Owner/Artistic Director

-Instructor in all dance genres and specialty classes in; Belly Dance, Ballroom, Flamenco, Irish Step Dancing ,Twirling and Wedding Dance Instruction

Sharon started her dancing career at the age of four. As a child, she performed at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City with such celebrities as the Supremes, Glayds Knight and the Pips, Tiny Tim, Steve Lawrence, and more! She appeared on "The Chief Halftown Show" and was a winner on "The Ted Mack Amateur Hour". Sharon also performed in the Poconos, at the Miss Lehigh Valley Pagent, and Fort Dix, New Jersey. She is a lifetime member of the National Association of Dance and Affiliated Artists, Inc. Sharon is the former president of NADAA in New York City and is now the National Vice-President. Miss Sharon is a judge for the Governor School of the Arts. She has taught master classes in New York City; Cherry Hill, New Jersey;Morristown, New Jersey and Baltimore, Maryland.  She received her teaching diploma and Extra Curricular Diplomas form the Jay Dash Dance Convention. 

Miss Trisha Pongracz – Assistant Artistic Director & Director of Competition and Touring Company Divisions

-Instructor in all dance genres , Wedding Dance Instruction & Modeling Instruction

Trisha is a graduate from DeSales University, formally Allentown College of St. Francis DeSales, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance. She is also a graduate of John Casablanca’s Modeling School and Weiss Baron Acting School. Trisha represented her school at the American College Dance Festival Association with her dance “Tangled Mind” which was also performed at the Allentown College Young Choreographer’s Series, as well as the Allentown College Dance Ensemble. She received a Certificate of Merit for outstanding artistic achievement for her choreography of “Tangled Mind”. Trisha received the Jeanne Meixell Award for Dance from Allentown College. Trisha has choreographed for the musicals “Pied Piper”, “Wizard of Oz”, “Peter Pan” and “The Velveteen Rabbit”. Trisha has taught at Lehigh University, Pennsylvania Youth Theater, Local Area Schools, City Space Learning Facility, Jefferson and Central Family Centers and has served as the Dance Team Coach for the Muhlenberg College Perkulators. Trisha was a judge for the Governor School of the Arts and the Dance Presentation and Competition coordinator for Sportsfest 2011, 2012 & 2014. She is the current choreographer of the EXCEL Dance Company which has won numerous awards and has performed at Disney World, Great Adventure, Universal Studios, on The Big Red Boat, in the Bahamas, at Hershey Park, Carnegie Hall, 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia, the 2012 Olympics in London, England and other local schools and shows. She has received the Best Choreography Award at the L.V. Dance Challenge and the Kenlin Talent Awards. 

Mr. Donathan Flucas   - Instructor

Donathan started his dance education in high school with the Alief Jazz Ballet dance program under the direction of Anna Ashy. While in AJB Donathan studied a wide range of dance genres such as ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, flamenco, salsa and many other styles of dance. While attending high school Donathan was also a part of a dance company called Dance of Asian America Dance Company under the direction of Janie Yao. There Donathan received training in ballet, modern, and Chinese dance. After high school Donathan began his teaching career with the dance company MA Dance. He has traveled all over the United States for the past 12 years teaching young dancers techniques and routines to help their knowledge of dance grow. Donathan also became the Assistant Director of Alief Jazz Ballet were he touched many future professional dancers lives. At the same time Donathan started teaching he also began his professional dance career with the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company. It was there Donathan trained with Dina Vail ( Julliard ), Naomi Glass (Houston Ballet), Richard D'Alton (National Ballet of Cuba, Orlando Ballet) and many other great teachers. Donathan was also a Las Vegas finalist on Season 4 of the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance. Donathan is the former Company Director of Fuzion Contemporary Dance Company and loved his role in training young dancers in all genres of dance. In 2015 Donathan has extended his resume by taking on another role as a judge for several different dance companies and competitions. Donathan is so happy to be back with the Sharon Plessl School of Dance. He looks forward to all the great opportunities and training he will get to share with all the talented students in the up and coming years.

Miss Toni Forcier - Instructor 

Toni Marie has been dancing since the age of 2. Toni has attended Northampton
Community College where she received her business degree and is also is a graduate of Desales University receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance.  While at Desales, Toni trained in many genres of dance including,  Ballet, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Pointe, and Modern. Toni has been a feature dancer at Dorney Park's Center Stage Performance and Dorney Park's Halloween Eternal Jamnation for Fancy Pants Entertainment. She has performed locally at Mayfair, Allentown Fair, Hershey Park, Musikfest, and Great Adventure. Toni, is also a former student of Sharon Plessl School of Dance, as well as a former member of the Excel Dace Company where performed in Disney World and Universal Studios.  She has won many Platinum and Gold competition awards over the years. Toni  has also appeared in many dance catalogs; including Curtain Call and is also a modeling coach. She has been featured on Toddlers and Tiaras and holds a title of Performer of The Year at East Coast USA Pageant.  

Miss Bethanee Houser  - Instructor

Bethanee Houser is a  graduate of William Allen High School. She has been dancing since the age of 2. She was a student of  Pam's Dance Academy where she also became a student teacher in later years .Bethanee also was in the dance  program at William Allen High School and on the Allegro Dance Team. Also cheer leading since 4 years of age, she made Varsity her freshman year of high school and was captain her senior year. She has won numerous awards for cheerleading and was an all-star cheerleader, traveling and competing often.  She choreographed  competitive dance pieces for her all star team and  won the best dance award in 2008. Bethanee  was also an NCA cheerleading instructor. She is well trained in all genres of dance, as well as cheering and gymnastics.  Bethanee taught previously here st Sharon Plessl School of Dance and  is excited to be back!

Miss Bianca Lee  - Instructor

Bianca is a graduate of Parkland High School. She has danced with the Sharon Plessl School of Dance for 20 years and the Excel Dance Company for 13 years. She has performed with Excel in Sydney, Australia for the 2000 Summer Olympics, and locally at Mayfair, Musikfest, Sportsfest and The Great Allentown Fair. She has taken numerous Master Classes with such choregrapher's as Tabitha and Napoleon and Blake McGrath from "So You Think You Can Dance", Marty Kudelka (Five time MTV Video Award Nominee for Best Choreography in a Music Video, and Winner of the 2013 and 2007 MTV VMA for best choreography for Justin Timberlake’s music videos) and Jamal Sims (choreographer in the movie "Step Up Revolution").

Miss Lauren Sadler - Instructor

Lauren has been dancing since the age of 3. She attended DeSales University studying dance and business. She has performed in the Boscov’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Cherry Blossom Parade as a featured dancer. She was chosen by the Universal Dance Association to travel as an ‘All Star Dancer’ to perform in Paris in 2008. She has also performed locally at Mayfair, Musikfest, Great Adventure, and many other events. She has been teaching dance since 2009 at Sharon Plessl School of Dance. She also was a part of Excel Dance Company and traveled to London to perform during the 2012 Olympics. She has danced competitively and won many awards throughout the years. Aside from dancing she is also a graduate of John Casablanca’s Modeling School.

Mr. Robert Sedler – Assistant Ballroom and Wedding Dance Instructor

Robert has been studying all genres of Ballroom including Rumba, Waltz, and Cha Cha, to name a few, at The Sharon Plessl School Of Dance for the past 9 years and has served as Miss Sharon's Assistant for all Ballroom and Wedding Dance lessons for the past 5 years.  Robert has been participating in local Ballroom workshops in the Allentown area for the past 6 years and will continue his instruction in Ballroom, Hip Hop and Tap with SPSD this fall.
